Betty Pages Editorials

The Betty Pages sprung out of some conversations Betty Desire a local drag queen and I were having in a gay bar. We were enjoying these rich discussions about sex, sexuality and the different communities we both experienced inside sex positive culture. We started laying plans for a publication tht would speak to those communities.

In June of 2004 we came out with our fist issue. While crude and amateurish, we had a lot of friends who loved it. Since then circulation has increased, the look has been refined although we still manage to insert some amateurism.

These editorials may be out of context now and were written for a local audience in the Bellingham area. But I am sure readers everywhere can make some sense of parts of them.
