Modern Pin-Up

My take on Pin-Up Photography is to keep the humor and lighthearted feel of the 50s and inject a modern edge to it. Pin-Up photos in the past were on the fringe socially. The now quite innocent images by Betty Page were the subject of congressional hearings. Now they would hardly rise an eyebrow. So for me to make Pin-Up art that mimics that style exactly would be lazy in same ways. My goal with these images are to be socially relevant and still sexy. Some are humorous some are more political. Hopefully I can succeed in doing this with these images.
