About me

My name is Jim Duvall, or at least that is the name I publish under on the internet. I got the nickname Jim when I was in college, not being good at names and watching all the students return in the fall. I took to calling anyone I couldn't place Jim. Soon I was calling everyone Jim and then it stuck on me. Then I found myself living in the city of Duvall and had a wife who took a pen name of Jane Duvall, suddenly my nickname had a last name too. If you ever meet me and are confused about what to call me just use the name I introduce myself as.

At the present I work as a photographer and that is most of what this website is about, my photography. I also shoot pictures for the local alternative tabloid The Betty Pages. Pick up a copy today. I also operated another site with my ex-wife and business partner Jane called Janes Guide. In it we have been a successful catalyst for changing the adult internet from solely being about taking customers for a ride and transforming it to being one concerned with customer satisfaction ad quality. Its an effect we started and Im glad to see many others have joined in over the years. I also am a former member of the Board of Directors of the SPCC aka The Wetspot in Seattle. This is a sex positive community center, that means its a place where events that celebrate the incredible diversity of our sexuality occur and can be put on by members of the community. Everything from workshops to classes to parties. I am really proud of its growth as an organization and very honored to have been involved from its inception. And last I work as a sex educator teaching classes for adults. Most of these classes are taught through an organization called Libido Events located in Vancouver B.C.

So much for where I am, how I got here is a long road that I have really been fortunate to enjoy. I started out living in a small town on a part time cattle farm. I competed as a rodeo cowboy as a while in high school. I quit rodeo for college and studied physics. While going to school I also worked as a sound engineer for live performance (small time roadie) and dabbled in promoting events like rock concerts before graduating to a career in Aerospace. I eventually owned my own company that provided Research and Development Services in the area of solid state lasers for NASA, and the Department of Defense as well as a whole host of larger aerospace companies. One day I was in the middle of selling my aerospace business and dating a woman who needed a website to promote her phone sex business. I started taking her picture and landed here. I have also owned a bar on the way.

This is probably not the story you were expecting but it is mine. It is a mystery to even me how it worked out this way, but I have enjoyed every bit of it along the way.
