The Betty Pages

The Betty Pages is a magazine I shot for in Bellingham, which served the LGBT community in Whatcom and Skagit counties. Each month I shot a "Page 3" erotic portrait. It was someone form the local community posing in an implied nude. You could tell they were probably naked, but as it was distributed free in public places, you could not prove it. It was a grand experiment and I learned a lot about working with nonprofessional models who were taking big risks for my art. I am very grateful for the chances they took with me.
